Agnete (Agnete Kristin Johnsen) won the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix and will take her Icebreaker to Stockholm.
Icebreaker is written by Agnete Johnsen herself, Gabriel Alares and Ian Curnow.
Agnete's star started to rise with teen band the Blacksheeps. The won the Nordic version of the Junior Eurovision in 2008 with the song Oro Jaska, Beana (the Sami title translates as Be Quiet, Dog.) The song was a no. 1 hit in Norway.
In 2011 the band went on to the grown ups Melodi Grand Prix.
Their song Dance Tonight ended 2nd behind Stella Mwangi's Haba Haba.
As far as I know Agnete is the Eurovision singer born most North ever. She was born in Nesseby at the beautiful Farangerfjorden.
